Hi,
My name is Thanos and I reside in Dudley (outside Birmingham).
I am looking for a female singer who can record clean vocals for my new rock/metal projects.
For each song they record vocals for, they will be registered for 10% of that song's royalties with PRS for Music, however, I have to make it clear that up until now, no £ has been made from any projects.
Please see the FAQ below.
A 30sec vocal recording will be carried out to establish that the vocals and the quality of the recording is what is needed. The backing track, lyrics and vocal guide will be provided.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you,
Thanos

FAQ:
1. Are there any commitments towards rehearsals/ Live gigs etc :
There will be zero obligation for any rehearsals, live gigs etc, this is purely a recording request.
2. What is the financial standing of this cooperation?
For each song you record vocals for, you will be registered for 10% of that song's royalties with PRS for Music. However, I have to make it clear that up until now, no £ has been made from any projects.
3. Do I need to record in a studio?
No. What you need is to have your own interface, mic, DAW, a space that is free of heavy reflections and the experience to work the interface & DAW.
4. Do I need to write my own lyrics and melodies?
No. As these albums are complete stories, for the most part, the lyrics will be provided, along with a vocal guide. However, as our collaboration evolves, we will be in contact about further involvement.
5. Will I be singing on every song on every album?
This is rarely the case. As the albums are complete stories there are specific parts that call for female vocals. It may be a few verses in one song or more.
5. Will I be credited for my recordings on the albums, lyric videos etc?
Absolutely.
6. Since royalties do not ensure £, what do I get out of this?
An extension of your recording catalogue within a variety of song styles and hopefully the joy of the participation in the creation of something beautiful.
7. How soon after I record my vocals do I expect the release of the album?
As these are recording projects, all instruments are recorded in advance. Therefore, it all depends on how many albums forward the vocals are recorded for. Eg. If that project is about to release Album No2 but the vocals are recorded for Album No5, it may be a while. There will always be clear communication regarding these matters.
