Hi, apologies this is gonna be a bit of a ramble,
I'm Adam, I'm a Country Rock/Pop Singer/Songwriter from Kings Lynn looking for competent experienced and enthusiastic musicians to put together a tight backing band for live shows and appearances in 2023.
I have 3 singles out on streaming platforms and am currently recording an album with a view to release in the Spring, so im looking to get a band together to learn the tracks in time to be able to book shows to support the release, i also have a dedicated manager and some great industry contacts including PR professionals Jeff Chegwin and Mike Grocott, as well as tour promoters and festival organisers, coupled with a seriously strong ambition to hit the music industry hard. I've played live acoustic sets on GB News, Talk Radio with Bob Mills, and received airplay on multiple UK Country Stations including BBC Essex, BBC Bristol, Liverpool Live Radio, CountryLine radio and many more, i was a main support artist at the BCMA Festival 2022 with artists such as Tim Protty-Jones, Alan Finlan and Flatland Kings, and was scheduled to play at Tennessee Fields 2022 before its unfortunate cancellation.
Our view for the new year is to finish production of the album, form a tight backing band of quality musicians and use our connections to begin booking slots at some of the best Country music festivals in the UK, and support tours with other, more established artists.
I'm looking for passionate enthusiastic musicians, ideally with some knowledge of modern Country music, with the drive to be a part of something awesome. I can't promise the world, or that every show will involve using my own band as many of the people we work with will have their own house band for live shows, however i do need to get in a room and play these tracks as they were meant to sound with a full band, this is something i haven't had the opportunity to do yet as i haven't had the completed material for a band to learn and play, as you probably know, recording music to a full production quality is expensive and can take a while, but with the new album nearly completed we'll have a decent set list, maybe even space for a few covers. I do have around 10 years experience fronting bands before i chose to go solo a year ago, and on stage with a band behind me is definitely where i'm most comfortable.
Influences include Luke Combs, Justin Moore, Darius Rucker, Zac Brown, and most prominently, Bon Jovi (not necessarily considered country, but my roots are in 80's hair metal bands and they've done a lot of country/country-style stuff in the last couple decades which was a big reason for my intro to the country genre)
I'm looking for people of a similar age group, i realise there are thousands of excellent musicians far older than i am, and i respect that, but i have to think about a consistent image along with commercial appeal, and so ideally i'm looking for people no older than 35, (i'm 26)
I need the basics first, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Bass and Drums, Keys too but they're like rocking horse sh*te these days so i don't hold out much hope, i would also love to include more classic country instruments like Banjo and Fiddle if there any around who are interested
If you're interested, if you think you have the drive, the time and availability and the willingness to travel for shows and rehearsals, give me a call, drop me an email or a message on here, lets talk
