Are you a guitarist who can lay down clean 80s pop rhythms, then seamlessly layer in massive analog synth pads and electronic hooks to make the band sound huge? If you can handle both authentic guitar parts and synth tones to help our keyboard player bring the 1980s to life, we want you!
We are Sound Of The Crowd, a newly formed 80s synth-pop and new wave cover band, and we are hunting for our final member to complete the lineup. We already have a dedicated keyboard player, but we are looking for a hybrid guitarist to help us keep our live sound incredibly full, authentic, and completely live—no backing tracks!
What we are looking for: The Hybrid Player: A versatile musician who can play standard pop/new wave guitar duties, but also use guitar-synth tech to double up on synth brass, pads, or secondary sequences to assist our keyboardist.
The Location: You must be able to rehearse in Lowestoft when required (we don't need a grueling weekly schedule, just focused sessions as needed).
The Gear: You must own and be comfortable using a guitar-synth setup (like a Boss SY series, Roland GK system, Jamstik, or similar tracking tech) alongside your normal guitar effects.
The Vibe: Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to get stuck in.
