BASS PLAYER WANTED!
TWO BANDS. ONE GREAT OPPORTUNITY!
POINT BLANK & FOREVER 80s
We’re on the lookout for a talented, experienced and committed BASS GUITARIST to join not one, but TWO established live bands!
POINT BLANK – A high-energy party covers band delivering crowd-pleasing hits across the decades.
FOREVER 80s – An exciting, energetic 1980s tribute show performing iconic hits from one of music’s greatest decades.
Both bands perform at live music venues, festivals, private functions and corporate events.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A confident, capable bassist with excellent timing and a solid groove.
Backing vocals are highly desirable, although not essential for the right person.
The ability to learn and perform two varied, demanding live sets.
Comfortable playing alongside backing tracks and click tracks.
A reliable, professional team player with a positive attitude.
Someone who can commit to rehearsals and confirmed bookings.
Own transport and a willingness to travel.
LOCATION & COMMITMENT
The majority of our bookings are in and around Northamptonshire, although we also perform further afield.
Please don’t apply if travelling, availability or committing to gigs is going to be an issue.
We’re serious about what we do, but we also believe performing live should be great fun!
WHEN WOULD YOU START?
Our current bassist will be continuing with us until March 2027, allowing plenty of time to find the right replacement, arrange auditions, learn the material and ensure a smooth transition.
We’re planning ahead because finding the right person is more important than simply filling the position.
SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY – NO TIME WASTERS, PLEASE!
We’re not looking for someone who just wants the occasional gig. We’re looking for a committed musician who wants to become a valued member of both bands and help us continue building on our success.
INTERESTED?
Send us a message telling us:
* Where you’re based
* Your playing experience
* Whether you can provide backing vocals
* Your availability and willingness to travel
* Ideally, links to videos of you performing
If you’ve got the talent, commitment and personality, we’d love to hear from you!
