Hey there!
We’re starting up a brand new Mötley Crüe tribute band, consisting of only female musicians.
We have a guitarist (Mick Mars) and I’ll be playing drums (Tommy Lee), but we are in need of a bass player (Nikki Sixx) and a vocalist (Vince Neil).
We are both based in South Yorkshire, but that’s not to say that you have to be.
Whilst both of us are avid Crüe fans and passionate about playing music and getting on stage, this tribute is work. We won’t be taking unpaid shows or going out just for fun, a minimum fee will be discussed when the line-up is finalised.
Both Tash and I play in a function band together, so gigs will be booked as far in advance as possible to prevent any clashes.
The plan, as of yet, is for us to do some auditions and then get straight to it. We will be learning a full set of songs (probably about an hours worth), and then hopefully doing a big rehearsal (or a few smaller ones) and then photo-shoot and potential video/ social media content. We don’t want this to take up lots of time with constant rehearsals, as everyone is busy.
We’re looking for people who are committed and reliable. Own gear is essential and the ability to drive/ travel is super helpful.
We won’t be dying our hair or wearing wigs, but we will be aiming for the same outfit style that Crüe wore in the 80’s. NO you will NOT have to wear anything revealing or provocative, that’s not what this band is.
