Hi, I’m Joe, a guitarist and sound engineering & production student looking to build a new indie/rock project from the ground up.
I've recently finished producing a cover as a proof of concept for the sound and production style I'm aiming for, and I'm now looking for a vocalist, guitarist and bassist who'd like to help build something original together.
The music is centred around strong songwriting, melodic guitar parts and big emotional choruses, with modern production and plenty of room for everyone's own influences.
Influences include Florence Road, Sam Fender, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Fleetwood Mac, James Marriott, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 and similar guitar-driven artists.
I'm ideally looking for:
* Female vocalist (ideal for the current direction)
* Guitarist
* Bassist
More than anything, I'm looking for people who enjoy writing original music, bringing ideas to the table and want to create something long-term rather than just play covers.
The plan is to start by recording vocals for the cover, use that as part of the introduction of the project online, and then move into writing and recording original material together.
I'd be handling the production side of the project, while everyone contributes creatively and helps shape the sound, arrangements and direction.
