Hi!
I’m a singer based in Tunbridge Wells, looking for an instrumentalist to form a duo with. Guitar or keys would be ideal.
My main influences are jazz, soul, and pop. I’d love to put together a varied set of jazz standards, stripped-back covers, and, potentially, some original music.
The idea would be to rehearse regularly, build confidence, develop together as a duo, and work towards playing open mics and gigs. I’d also be interested in exploring songwriting and recording music together in the future.
I’ve been singing since I was six years old, from performing in choirs to singing solo. Over the years, I’ve taken part in lots of open mics and some competitions, played a few gigs, and collaborated on various recordings. I’m hoping to find a musical partner I really click with, someone whose style complements mine and with whom I can develop a shared sound and creative direction.

I’m looking for someone reliable, friendly, and collaborative. You don’t need to be a full-time professional, as I’m not either, but I’d like to work with someone who is committed and has similar musical goals. What matters most is that we get on well musically and enjoy working together.
I live in Tunbridge Wells and do not drive, so ideally, you would be local or based somewhere that is easy to reach by train. I’m happy to discuss rehearsal locations and frequency, depending on what works for both of us.
