Post rock/post metal band. Who wants to create with me? Bexhill/Hastings

Hi
I play guitars, piano, viola.
I'm also a vocalist but in this case I'm looking to create a project more focused on instrumental music, maybe the occasional bit of vocals when necessary

Blackened Post rock/post metal vibes.
Bands like This will destroy you, Godspeed you! Black emperor, Mono, wolves in the throne room, Rinoa, fen, amenra, oathbreaker, morrow, ashenspire, a forest of stars, *shels, saor, devil sold his soul, early Pianos become the teeth, a winged victory for the sullen
... Are amongst my many musical inspirations but the list could go on forever ...
Heavy, emotive, cathartic, textural, and brilliantly musical.. is what I hope to achieve.

Anyone interested in jamming/creating together?

Hi graveowl, I just moved to Hastings and I'm interested in jamming, if you havnt already got something sorted?

I play guitar, and I do a bit with electronic stuff as well.

I'm not very technical musically, but I have been playing a long time, and I do love post rock

Mono are a fave, and I also love jakob and mogwai

I am really into my metal ie silent planet, deftones as well, and would like to incorporate both if that was doable.
Post metal is new to me

I play 7 string drop b, but I can change that if it doesn't work for you
Happy with instrumental, as most of what I listen to is instrumental

I have equipment but I don't have a car atm
Do you have a place in mind for jamming?

Thank

Hi!

I'm up for jamming and seeing where it goes. I have lots of different influences but overall I want to make progressive, dynamic music. I am a singer also but I'd be happy to focus more on instrumental music, even if we were to incorporate some vocals as well, vocals don't need to be central to the music.
I also play a seven string guitar mostly. In b standard.
I also have equipment but no car. So possibly the best solution would be to find a good rehearsal space preferably with amps so we can just turn up with guitars and pedals and jam. But if you'd like to meet first before jamming we could also arrange that.

Sounds good to me Smile do you know any practise spaces?

I don't have an amp in Hastings but I have a strymon iridium pedal which models amps fairly well into a pa system/speaker

Does b standard mean beadgbe?

I havnt really embraced the 7 string tunings, I was given the guitar and found it was better handling low tunings than my 6 strings,
So mine is setup B-F#-B-E-G#-C

Would the difference in tunings work for you, for jamming ?
