Musicians Wanted – Starting an Original Alternative Rock Project | Letchworth / Hertfordshire
I'm looking to get a new project off the ground and am on the lookout for like-minded musicians who want to write, rehearse, record and ultimately get out there playing live.
I'm a guitarist and vocalist with a fair bit of experience in the scene through my other band. I've got access to a studio in Enfield through that project, as well as the connections to help get gigs across a good range of venues in London.
Musically, I'm drawn to artists like Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam and Big Wreck, alongside alternative rock, grunge, and anything with a bit of depth, atmosphere and its own identity. I'm open-minded about where the sound goes, provided there's a shared passion for creating something genuinely good.
I'm looking for:
- Drummer
- Bassist
- Potentially a second guitarist
I'm not looking to put together a covers band. The idea is to build something around original material, create a solid writing partnership, and have a good environment where we can develop ideas, rehearse regularly and record our own music.
Ideally, you'd be based in or around Letchworth Garden City, or within reasonable travelling distance, and be available for regular meetups and rehearsals. Having access to a car would be a real bonus, as I anticipate we'll be doing a fair bit of travelling between rehearsals, the studio and gigs.
I'm looking for people who are enthusiastic, committed and easy to work with. No egos or unnecessary drama — just musicians who want to make great music, enjoy the process and see where it takes us.
If you're into writing original material, have some experience behind you, or simply feel like this sounds like the kind of project you'd love to be part of, drop me a message. Tell me a little about yourself, what you play, your influences and any music you've worked on.
Let's make something worth listening to.
