Hi there! (Forgive me in advance if I make english mistakes here)
I'm Mango, I'm a French London based artist and because of work & family commitments, my former band members cannot follow me around anymore so I want to gather new musicians AKA a new backing band, and I also strongly want to upgrade my act.
Priority would be to find a guitarist, as I can still manage to find a drummer at times, but I would honestly love to have the same band with me.
My former setup was me at the vocals, with my guitarist controlling the backing tracks who would include synth sounds and bass, and a drummer. I used to have a bass player for some occasions but never found a regular person (and never took the time to find them either).

Please note that the three first tracks I have online do not represent my current artistry as I was under a management contract that didn't allow me to craft my projects properly. My song Can't Be Cured reflects more my current artistic direction and I'm soon releasing my new record Lovestruck which is more like a rock synth based ballad (I'm waiting for the master as I'm writing this ad) and I can obviously send you the track so you can know what's going on. I'm slow at releasing my music because I am self-funding everything.
If I have to play my old tracks that are more pop, they are being played more rock and roll live.
I am an energetic performer, although I can calm down for the slow songs, but yes, I would prefer to perform with people who have a lot of energy just like me, and who are really keen on constantly playing, even if sometimes it has to be at a small pub. This is not a must but I will probably like you more if you have a sense of fashion or a striking style because I really love to dress up for my shows.
I would like to play a bit more around the UK, and in Europe as well, not just be stuck in London, even if it costs more than what I can earn.
For backing vocals purposes, that would be lovely to have female musicians, but it's not an obligation. If you have a great vibe, gender doesn't matter here.
I am part of the LGBTQ+ community as pansexual woman, therefore if you do not respect this I cannot get along with you, same thing if you don't believe in feminism or have an existential problem because of other communities than yours fighting for their human rights.
I'm playing the Freakout Festival in the US in Seattle in November but I won't need you to follow me in America for this year, as I will have a band who can play for me there.
I write my own songs, I'm a good melody maker and I just use Garage Band on iPad to make my demos, but if you are a creative with extra skills you can teach me, and if you have time for writing sessions this is something I would be open to.

I am DIY and I obviously cannot pay you as a session musician although I'm happy to cover rehearsal booking sessions, which is already big for my small budget (I pay my own songs, videos and everything related to my releases). I would like to strive with people that dig what I do.
My influences are a mix of Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey & The Runaways.
I do not want to belong to a box when it comes to creating music.
