Guitarist looking to start a band/get gigging experience Greater Manchester

Over the last few months I've been coming up with a few song ideas, mostly down the indie/alternative line. I have no gigging experience, but want to take music more seriously as I am now studying music production.

As a quick background, I've been playing guitar consistently for almost 5 years and prefer lead, but am versatile and am happy to take on rhythm/acoustic parts as well.

I am based in Leigh, but spend a lot of time in Manchester and have access to a car so am ideally looking to gig in Manchester. I have access to free practice space in Manchester including amps and microphones.

Age wise I'm looking to work with people in their 20s (I'm 24) who are looking to take music seriously. If you're a singer/bassist/guitarist/drummer and are interested, please let me know! Because my main goal is to get live experience, I'm also open to covers bands and acompanying singers as a duet.
