Guitarist (male, 27) based in East London available to join a band in London. Flexible with playing a mix of rhythm and lead.

I’m mostly influenced by post-punk guitarists, but I like a lot of different music. Some of my favourite bands are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joy Division, New Order, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Durutti Column, Bow Wow Wow, Gang of Four, The B-52s… the list goes on.

I’m committed and can be relied upon. I really care about music, and feel like I have a lot to give creatively so looking to find the right people to facilitate that. I’m not interested in joining a setup where there is a motive of getting to a certain status or fulfilling some idea of success, so if that’s you then please don’t contact me.

Hey Toby

We’re Vanity Tapes and are looking for a guitarist who can share lead and rhythm with me (the frontman), and similar to you we’re not about ‘making it’. That plus your excellent influences makes you ideal on paper!

Vanity Tapes

We're a London based band, currently looking for a bass player and a second guitarist/multi-instrumentalist - either with backing vocals.

Late in 2024 we released a new single, Hold Yr Horses. This is a good representation of our current sound. We are currently mixing other tracks for an EP release shortly. We released our debut album, Hiatus, in 2023.

It's an exciting year ahead as we look to work on new material and play more regular gigs. We rehearse weekday evenings at a pub very close to London Bridge station. We are looking to do so once a fortnight.
