The Midwich Affair are looking for a lead guitarist and drummer to join their line-up and complete the gang.
We're a Stafford-based alternative dark pop/rock band with an established catalogue, growing streaming numbers, a loyal fanbase, and new music on the way. The next chapter is all about building the full band, getting back on stage, and seeing how far we can take this.

Who we are:
We're collaborative, easy-going and completely ego-free. We write songs we love, rehearse regularly, and believe the best ideas can come from anyone in the room.
Our music sits somewhere between alternative rock, dark pop and cinematic drama, so we're looking for dynamic players who enjoy creating atmosphere as much as making a glorious racket.
We're both in our 50s, but age really isn't the point. If you've got energy, commitment and a passion for making great music, you'll fit right in.
Who we're looking for...
Lead Guitarist
Confident lead player with great tone.
Creative with hooks, textures and memorable, melodic solos.
Happy to contribute ideas and help shape the songs live.
Drummer
Powerful, dynamic player with solid timing and feel.
Able to drive the songs while knowing when to hold back.
Reliable, enthusiastic and ready to help build something.
What we're aiming for
We're looking for musicians who are passionate about creating original music and committed to building something that can grow beyond the rehearsal room. If the thought of writing great songs, playing memorable gigs and reaching listeners around the world excites you, we'll get on. We have new releases planned, our audience continues to grow, and we're ready to get back out gigging and build a live following.
