Forming a psychedelic/ alternative/ indie/ blues/ noise rock inspired Rock Band – Seeking Lead Guitarist, Rhythm Guitarist & Bass Player (Keyboardist Welcome)
I’m looking for musicians who want to build something real from the ground up.
A little about me…
I grew up surrounded by music. My Irish father and Welsh mother met on the Camden squatting scene in the 1980s, so music wasn’t just something that played in the background of my childhood—it was a way of life. I was raised on Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Faces and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Rock ‘n’ roll shaped who I am.
I started playing guitar when I was 13 years old and haven’t stopped since. Over the years I’ve written and recorded music, including alongside my brother who is a professional recording artist.
I’ve played in bands before, but I’ve never found that group where it truly felt like ours—a band built around a shared vision, making the music we genuinely wanted to make. That’s what I’m looking for now.
The truth is, this is all I’ve ever wanted to do.
I think about music every day. I always have. I always will.
My dream isn’t fame or chasing trends. It’s having a band that can create powerful music together, get on stage, lose ourselves in it and give people something real. Music is expression first and foremost, and that’s the foundation of what I want to build.
This is a start-from-scratch project. That might sound daunting to some people, but to me it’s exciting. We have the chance to create something entirely our own.
What I bring is commitment, discipline, ambition, songwriting ideas, stage presence and the determination to see this through. I believe in myself wholeheartedly as a frontman and vocalist, and my job is to bring the energy that allows everyone else in the band to shine.
I already have a committed drummer on board who is classically trained and has been playing since he was a kid. He’s every bit as passionate and dedicated as I am.
I also have contacts within the London music scene and promoters who host live nights and are already interested in giving this project opportunities to perform once we’re ready.
Musically, I’m drawn towards psychedelic heavy blues rock, garage rock and alternative psychedelia. Influences include:

That said, I’m not interested in creating a carbon copy of any of those bands. If we connect creatively and love what we’re making, I’m open to seeing where the music takes us.
One thing that’s important to me beyond the music itself is the band’s identity and aesthetic. The visual side of a band matters. Not in a superficial way, but as an extension of the music and the atmosphere we’re creating. Image, artwork, style, stage presence and overall vibe should all feel like part of the same world.
I’m 30 years old and based in North/East London. I’m flexible when it comes to rehearsals and committed to making this project work. Ultimately, the goal is to write and perform original music, but I’m absolutely open to learning and playing covers along the way if it helps us grow, develop chemistry and find our sound as a band.
I’m currently looking for:

A keyboard player would also be a welcome addition, though it’s less of a priority right now.
Most importantly, I’m looking for people who genuinely love music, want to create something original, and are willing to commit to building a band rather than just joining one.
