16 years ago — in a rehearsal room that smelled faintly of damp carpet and ambition — a group of musicians accidentally played the same song at the same time. This rare alignment of events created what is now a long-established pop/rock covers band. Since then, we’ve survived:
- At least three musical “eras”
- Multiple drummers (all excellent, all still alive)
- Tempo debates that lasted longer than at least 2 of our marriages
- A van that definitely shouldn’t have passed its MOT
- That one gig where the crowd nearly crushed us
We’ve played pubs, clubs, parties, and places that definitely used to be pubs. We’ve packed dancefloors, emptied bars, and once our soundman farted and emptied and entire venue in Dublin.
Now, following the noble departure of our current drummer — who has decided to preserve their spine for retirement — we seek a new keeper of the rhythm.
About the band:
- Long-running, well-rehearsed, and still enjoying ourselves
- Pop & rock classics people know, love, and shout the wrong words to
- Mostly in our mid 40s, except our keys player, Who's national Insurance Number is 3
- Friendly, no ego setup (except the singer — legally unavoidable)
About you:
- Can play to a high standard
- Own kit & transport
- Turns up, learns the songs, enjoys a laugh
- Comfortable being blamed when the ending goes wrong
We’re not chasing fame, record deals, or viral dance routines — just a solid, reliable drummer who fancies joining a band with a long history, short rehearsals, and an impressive collection stories.
