Bassist or lead guitarist,Indie rock Strokes Arctic Monkeys Dalston/East London

Sunday 11 Oct 2026, 1:58pm

Hey, I'm Hugo. OWEN oriçon is our indie/alt rock band and we're looking for a bassist or lead guitarist.

We're currently a three piece. Drummer's sorted and one of the two guitar roles is too. So if you play bass, our bass player moves over to lead. If you play lead, he stays put. Either way it's one more person.

Below are some videos of our last gig at the Amersham Arms on 17 September.

Got one album out already (If You'll Dance, I'll Dance, 2024), three singles out this year, and a second album finished that'll be rolling out over the next year. Working on getting shows in the diary.

Inspired by Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Beatles, MK.gee and Dominic Fike. I sing and play rhythm. After a bassist who thinks melodically or a lead guitarist who helps to make the song better.

It's all written and recorded already, so it's more about learning a set and playing it well than starting something from nothing. That said, the live arrangements are wide open and I welcome people with opinions on them.

Not a session gig. I want people in this for the long run if things work out. Looking for someone in a similar age range to us +- 5 years to 24 years old.

Based in East London and rehearsing around there.

Have a listen and drop me a message if it sounds like your thing. We'd be playing the latest released 4 or 5 songs with more unreleased songs.
