hello. i am based in south london and would really like to commit to playing music with people regularly. i would preferably like to find some way to fit into your existing band. my specific aptitude in music is writing but i would mostly just like to play at this stage - i currently have no other projects and am willing to commit time to rehearsing / gigging.
my first instrument was piano. i did my undergrad at guildhall, where i studied classical composition and then switched to electronic music (i can produce and mix). i played a lot of drum kit up until university (my mother is actually a drummer so i was always put on the kit for some reason or other) and would very much like to return to this: i can keep time well, willing to learn your material, am generally conscientious, etc.
i mostly play guitar at the moment; i play original stuff in folk tunings but can learn your parts in standard. i write my riffs on a classical but have access to a strat. i've incidentally got a kawai ES920 that purports to be portable.
my influences are so all over the place that i would find it difficult to present a coherent list to you, but i am genuinely open to doing anything, save for jazz, and this is just because i only know one standard. would be quite interested in some sort of alt-rock / shoegazey stuff. i also quite like math rock and this sort of thing.
i can sing in tune. i do not want to be a frontwoman as i am very camera shy but i can do backing vocals.

i have more clips available that have vocals or piano. i haven't got a clip with drums available, but i intend to get one.
i would especially love to play with other women but this isn't by any means a dealbreaker.
