Vox Lumiere
(London)
Tuesday 31 Mar 2026, 3:48pm
Vox Lumiere is a touring show that transforms iconic silent films into immersive live experiences with original music and vocals. It's a rock concert, theatrical event, and cinematic journey rolled into one.
Looking for a great pop sound (RANGE: G3 – C5) and the ability to rap. Sweet pop ballads and mid-tempo dance tunes, as well as some very quick rap parts. A great opportunity to show off your full range of talents.
The show is performed with a pre-recorded orchestral, choral backing track and click track. Reading musical notation, while not a requirement, is certainly a plus. In addition to using in-ears, vocalists must also be able to take cues from the music (at times with a little help from the drummer).
- 4 week UK tour of Vox Lumiere Metropolis in September/October 2026.
- Rehearsals and performances are paid.
- Fees Include transportation for the tour dates and housing via sleeper coach.
The ensemble consists of 8 performers – drums, bass, guitar, violin, two male and two female singers. The music is synced perfectly to each film, and each show is like performing a live film scoring session. The scores are tricky, and include multiple key changes, time signatures and tempo changes, sometimes happening all at once. It’s fun, challenging and requires a high level of musicianship.
We do not use amps. All instruments – eDrums, bass, guitar and violin (electric or miced) – are “in line” and controlled by the FOH mixer. Both instrumentalists and vocalists monitor sound with in-ear monitors that you control individually through personal monitor mixers.
We ask you to audition with our material.
Why?
To save you time. Our music is tricky. It includes multiple key changes, time signatures, and tempo changes, sometimes happening all at once. And, even after you send us your beautifully recorded, produced and mastered tracks, we are still going to ask you to perform our material. We've found it saves everyone time if we just “get to it.” ????
If interested, please record a video of you performing the selected audition pieces.

Please use the equipment you have. We don’t expect a studio quality recording. Anything shot on your smartphone, tablet, or computer will do just fine. We just want to get an accurate sense of how you play or sing.
Send it to us via free WETRANSFER: https://wetransfer (dot) com/
Please title your email VOX AUDITION – YOUR NAME – YOUR INSTRUMENT or VOCAL PART and include a message (optional) if there’s anything you’d like us to know. Please also provide us with a CV/Resume/Bio and references.
That’s it. Thanks for your interest. We look to hearing from you!
