We are two guys who have been playing together for several years in bands and are starting a new project - Tiny Little Teeth:

It's further than just the ideas phase, though. We've been writing songs between us, looking to make a sound that's bigger than the sum of its parts. We fuse guitar, drums and synth with the goal of creating catchy, beat-driven, dancy tunes with a foundation in indie / electro. We're not naval-gazing: we'd prefer the audience to dance than gently sway side to side. Think LCD Soundsystem meets Battles with Phoenix, QOTSA, Interpol and the Hives thrown in for good measure. That's the goal, anyway.
We've reached a point where we have enough songs and solid ideas for a set's worth of music and really want to get gigging - we've both done this extensively around London in the past and it's definitely where we feel at home. We have a gig booked for late August - we were planning to do this as a duo but it would be awesome to debut as a three.
Now it's time to expand the ranks and take on a singer. A singer who can bring vocal and melody ideas and might be open to playing a little synth, or even bass to build our sound further. What we have already, we can play live between us with a little ingenuity, but there is potential to add more into the mix. We've written some lyrics and vocal melodies, but these aren't set in stone - it's not our strength and we're definitely looking for someone who wants to contribute to the songwriting in this way.
We've uploaded a home recorded demo to our Soundcloud to give you an idea of where we're coming from. The songs are works in progress and the right person would hopefully see the potential and come in and put their stamp on them, in addition to helping us write some more great music.
The ideal person would be willing to practice at least once a week (we live around N4 / N8 so being in or around this area is a benefit but not essential) and be looking to gig every month or so. This is a fun project for us (we both have day jobs) but we're committed to getting back on the gig circuit, so we're looking for someone who's on the same wavelength.
Drop us a line if you're keen and we can arrange to meet up and discuss further!
