I’m an experienced vocalist looking to bring together a talented group of musicians to create a brand new function and covers band.
I’m looking for:
• Guitar
• Bass
• Drums
• Keys
• Sax or other brass a bonus!
The plan is to build a high-quality, fun band with a varied repertoire covering everything from the 60s through to today’s biggest hits. Think rock, pop, soul, funk, indie, disco, Motown and modern chart favourites! The sort of songs that fill dance floors at pubs, clubs, weddings and festivals.
A little about me…
I’ve been gigging for many years as a solo vocalist and have also fronted bands, so I know what it takes to put on a great live show. I’m a confident front man who enjoys engaging with an audience and keeping the energy up throughout a performance. I’m reliable, easy-going and passionate about creating a band that sounds fantastic but is just as enjoyable to be part of.
The plan is to:
• Rehearse around once a week in or around the Bexhill area.
• Get a polished set together.
• Start with some pub and club gigs.
• Progress into weddings, private functions and festivals.
• Aim for one or two gigs a month.
Like many people, I have family commitments and they will always come first. I’m looking to build a band with musicians who feel the same way - people who are committed, reliable and want to create something great, but who also understand that life sometimes gets in the way. The goal is to find the right balance between making brilliant music and enjoying the process without unnecessary pressure.
I’m after musicians who are:
• Experienced or confident performers.
• Reliable and committed.
• Friendly, positive and up for a laugh.
• Happy to put the work in without the ego.
