Vocalist and guitarist looking for new line up for band. Nottingham

After several members recently leaving due to personal reasons and not being able to fully commit, Dark Savant are looking for members. We currently consist of myself (Jay, vocals) and Tim (rhythm guitarist), and are looking for a lead guitarist, a drummer, and a bass player to join us.

We're a stoner/doom metal band (think Sabbath, Type O Negative, etc) that was born from me writing a few songs in my bedroom and wanted to get a band together to play them. Our previous line-up started in late 2023 and we were almost gig ready but we couldn't really get a consistent schedule going or build any momentum and eventually we called it quits at the start of June. However I don't want this to be the end.

I'm looking for people who are happy to be a part of the song writing process, and who can fully commit to turning up to rehearsals and gigging. Not too bothered about ability as long as you can play the basics to a good standard, nor are we bothered about age or gender, as long as you're committed, enthusiastic and not a prima donna (got no time for egos) and that you're local to Nottingham.

Furthermore, and I want to stress that even though I'll be the vocalist and own the trademark to the name etc, I don't want this to be MY band, but rather an equal group of musicians that will mainly want to have fun while playing music.

So far there's about half an albums worth of songs that are finished, and I'm currently working on more, but if you want to contribute to the song writing process, let's just say the more the merrier
