Im Simon from Tiny Forehead.
Musicians wanted for alt/ postpunk/ garage goth band Tiny Forehead.
I’ve already got a rehearsal booked with (so far) all females which ties in with my desire for Tiny Forehead to be comprised of all genders and ages. In my opinion the best bands are male/ female (think B52s, My Bloody Valentine, Pixies etc)
Different ages in a band creates fresh energy, with younger members offering expressive, empathetic, inclusive tech savvy skills and elders offering sanity, better vehicles and multi experiences of musical life.
I would love any interested musicians to DM here to arrange an introductory beer/ coffee. Literally all instruments considered, apart from the recorder. Not mad on maracas either.
The only non-negotiables (as all line-up’s of TF have had) is the ability to practice in Nottingham weekly and gig prolifically all over England, no Reform/ MAGA types (don’t think because you have a Les Paul Goldtop you can get round this) and flexibility.
We have lots of released tracks on streaming and two music videos- I’m the one in the chequered mask- and a ton of gigs lined up including the Adelphi Hull.
Be great to have a beer and a chat in the first instance if you think the band could be your cup of tea ????

We have built our sound taking inspiration from various waves such as 60's Garage, 70's UK Punk, 80's Post Punk,goth and Northern Soul.
