UPDATE:
Hello again, had some great responses from people and really appreciate the amount of messages I've received. Keep me posted if you read this.
Had some messages from mostly drummers and bass players. Please stay in touch
We just got a Trumpet player to go with our Trombonist so if there's any Saxophone players our brass section will sound amazing. (Two lovely ladies so an extra would be a treat but no problem if not)
What we need:
Bass and Drums(in the auditioning stage)
Sax
Guitar x2(2 people interested)
Keys (1 person interested)
Toaster, Rapper/2nd singer to elevate the hype.
Getting there slowly..
What we sound like:
We're a Ska/Reggae band but really interested in spreading out in different genres Soul, hip-hop, Punk and have a list of covers to play to get us tight.
Our influences are vast from Classical to Death metal. But take a lot of inspiration from Tuff Gong, Two Tone and Trojan Records. As well as people like Sam Cooke to Mark Lanegan..list goes on
Original Songs will get written as we go after we've gelled and got settled in, as the studio is expensive and I don't know everyone's work and family commitments yet.
Covers list: Reggae style versions of..
Serve the Servants - Nirvana
Do Nothing - The Specials
Venus as a boy - Bjork
Slow Country - Gorillaz
Macka splaff - Steel Pulse
Two Seven Clash - Culture

Thank you for reading and looking forward to hearing from you.
Ps everyone is in their 30s and 40s
Original Skunkrockers.
