The Common Heroes are an indie rock band made up of eclectic mix of musicians with a wide range of musical tastes, age and experience. We have headlined festivals and supported some very big names in the music world. We also got to the quarter finals of the recent BBC competition - the Best Part Time Band, with the show acknowledging that the band were in the top 10% of unsigned bands in the country.
Their completely original music, combines the sounds of such artists as Paul Weller, Led Zepplin, the Who and Oasis, to create a unique melodic wall of sound.
Guitar riffs to catch the listeners ears are accompanied by thumping driving bass lines, innovative drumming and passionate vocals.
"They'd get the dead dancing." Bez - Happy Monday's
"Great sound, Great Riffs." - Nigel Clarke, Dodgy.
"One of the best live bands in London." Half Moon Putney.
"The Public needs to hear more of the Common Heroes." BBC - Britain's Best Part Time Band

if you are up for it could you learn the lead parts to at least three of these? (More if you want!)
Dog and the Dream
Shine
Where are they now.
Sing it Love It
Cant Stand the Pain
Good Man Down.
We are not looking for you to necessarily produce things note for note, but we are looking for you to play lead. Do you know when to play and when not to play? You can be creative with the song, show us that you get the gist of the song and what you might have done differently etc.
We do this for fun, but are serious about our music. We rehearse at Tweeters Leatherhead - You up for it?
We'd love to meet you, we'd love to laugh with you and make music with you. Boy, Girl, Young, Old - We are not fussed! Could it be you? Well could it?
