Are you recording in a fish tank? The vocal theme is dry, old, and boring, sounds like Gomez had a baby with 20k pub-folk nights. Your timing needs work, your guitar needs new strings, and you need to record through an audio interface with 2 inputs- one for your voice with its own mic, and another to capture the guitar before it bounces around whatever the shape of that room you're recording in looks like. And upload to Youtube, have stuff set to unlisted to share the link, believe it or not Youtube will turn down you -7/-8 LRA without crushing it more than that condenser mic you're recording through. Sweet, Sweet, unsolicited advice, gonna give you more... yeah, yeah, yeah!

Throw a blanket over your head and mic-stand to make your vox dry, then EQ them afterwards. Guitar just plug it straight in to the DAW through an interface (M-Audio do a duo for under £60).

Final wisdom:

Your ads need work, what are your goals, what do you want from other musician's on here - from me you got a cold critique, do you want people to jam online or at jam nights or private house events, rehearsal rooms? Be clear - or be like me with the ads - sound actually like the form of your music and draw only the right people - those who think its wank or whatever move on.

Opinions are personal and not relevant. You give out information as with most that comment that folk already know.

Furthermore your music is not relevant.

It is totally up to me what I post when I post and if I post sh*t or think it is or not/ not people like you who manufacture white noise that is totally irrelevant to anyone. And then continually advertise for people to play Saudi sh*t live and comment on others ads as you clearly have zero life.

Originality (Craig, my lovely... ) isn't trying to produce a recording for release. It's just a rough-cut demo (you should hear some of the rough cuts I've been responsible for; they're not even good enough to be outtakes, and I was getting paid for it).

Exactly as rough as this recording is.

I enjoyed it because there was no pressure and I was relaxed that is/was the point.

I post different stuff to see if anyone gets it.

The rawness ..touch of the voice I liked. The feel. It is all about the feel for me. For you...
You seek meaning/different. And find mainstream a bore I feel.

Because exactly music is creative.

I do what I love not what others do which is why I can sing. Because I sing with feel and love.

Could you timestamp me this Saudi shizz in my tunes? Doesn't match the 'white-noise' retort? Do you mean I'm not just using straight major/minor chords - I'm using modal changes and the drummer/keys/synth/guitars are sounding 'Middle-eastern?' I'm pretty sure Saudi Arabia has strict laws on music (Especially live music), being an Islamic State and record breaker of human-rights abuses; public events need GEA-style permission, performers may need cultural/performance licensing, and venues like cafés need live-show permits. Sounds like Boring Dystopia to me - but not my kind of music - yet unlike me, who sat through your entire song, I imagine you skimmed 10 seconds of music concrete intro of my tunes and came back covered in sand and hatred for anything microtonal. Freedom is free, Cruz, for us, in the West, at the minute - but even our freedoms are being erased. I'm central in my politic before you call me 'woke'. Sit through the full 44 minutes of Not Even Wrong and tell me that's Saudi sh*t, I dare you. As for playing Saudi music, na, not my cup a tea, too complex and folky. And I can't support the idea of a country that holds the record next to Israel for human rights abuses.

As for my ads, they have the desired effect, they weed out the wrong people straight away. But what shames me is the volume of traffic they receive - their obscure titles and long verbose passages lead to the same thing as everyone else's - looking for other musicians - and because I dump a huge word filter of imagery and thoughts amongst them, I get the right sorts of loony.
Neither of us write traditional ads - unless we need to hire musicians for projects, etc, yours are erratic in the "go to google-drive" way - stinks of data harvesting or some sort of scam, folks trust Youtube links even if it goes to white noise and Saudi shizz.

Get a Youtube channel up, record yourself as you are with your head-missing (phone, guitar, voice) - I'm not saying you're an ugly mother, but better to start for your own confidence - fill the channels with originals and covers, do shorts, they are the money pit - me, I'm long-form all the way, baby, 20+ minute songs to get high to, eyelid movies, tripping.

Anyway, enough of this, I've got no life to go back to on the other monitor now the damn AI in my DAW has split some old drums up from Youtube - you should try it, get some great textures from poorly recorded drums off old yooby.

Final remark:

Hopefully you're not being a racist by insulting the Saudi's on a public forum about their music, you ever go to Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, Dammam, they might check your posts history and you could be reused entry or held on sedition laws.
