South coast metallic Hardcore band looking for a drummer Worthing/Chichester/Southampton

Tuesday 30 Jun 2026, 1:18pm

We are a guitarist (Southampton), Bassist/Producer (Worthing) and Vocalist (Chichester) all in our forties and recently started song writing again. We've played in bands before, but this is a new project for us. Band is called No Fate.

We are writing hardcore punk with metallic influences - think Converge, Nails and Vein with the atmosphere and groove of Will Haven too.

We want someone who is a similar (ish) age to us. We currently write at home and use MIDI drums to write to. We want a drummer who can bring those parts to life - they don’t have to be exactly the same, but we do want the same intensity and feel for each part. We have a lot of fast double kick, blast beats and technical parts but also some groove too. We also play around with time signatures and tempo so they are demanding tunes!

We've written a couple of tunes to demo and are happy to share so you can get an idea of vibe. We don’t want super polished, and love that chaotic, raw, live feel. We don’t have any massive ambitions beyond writing an ep/album we can be proud of, getting together for some rehearsals and if we get enough material maybe getting some gigs one day. We take it seriously and want to make something great, but also we are doing it for fun too.

We are planning to jam at least once a fortnight in Chichester at airtight studios.

Give us a shout if this sounds like your jam.
