Can anyone tell me WTF I have to do to get a serious response from genuine people on this site please?

Once more with feeling ...

VERY EXPERIENCED Rock, Blues, Soul, RnR, MOR SINGER and lyricist with good PA and transport looking for a band, duo, trio etc. This could be either an electric or acoustic outfit who need real QUALITY vocals.

Not really very interested in the money side of things - I just want to get out there and entertain an audience a couple of gigs a month and have a good time.

I'm beginning to wonder if there are any quality players left out there who are committed enough?

Very happy to send a link to my online recordings to anyone who is seriously interested.

I've met some really decent people through here, but they seem to be a minority. My sent items are mostly sitting unread or unanswered.

There are some folks who make all the right noises then cancel, or go quiet, or decide last minute that an originals band is too much like hard work.

I'm late to the party and tried to get an originals band off the ground. It didn't work, but in the process I met and got to play and enjoy being with some really good people

I do want to start a new project. I'm currently looking at adverts, sending messages and mostly getting static back.

I have zero advice to give. It's really frustrating and disheartening

As OldManClan said, an originals band is too much like hard work. Most just wanna be in a covers or tribute bands, as they are too lazy to actually try to write something new,. It's easier to steal than create after all.
Guess if you put you'd just signed a million quid record deal and promised the band would be mega famous by next weekend ! your inbox would be melting Smile
Good luck with your search, there are some good folk out there, it's just a long game I'm afraid.
