Ska/Punk/Alternative Band - Looking for new members! Newcastle, upon Tyne

Hello!

We're a Ska inspired alternative band called Goodsprings! We've been in the Newcastle music scene for the past 7 years, featuring on BBC Introducing as well as headlining some of Newcastle's finest venues such as The Cluny 1 and Newcastle University's Student's Union! We've also boasted a plethora of world class musical talent who have moved on to amazing opportunities such as touring on cruise ships, musical therapy and general music teaching!

We're currently a five piece, featuring vocals, rhythm guitar, bass, drums, tenor sax and trombone, but we're looking to expand to open up our sound to new ideas as well explore other musical genres! Although Ska inspired, we're looking to find members who can offer creative new ideas to help our sound evolve.

Here is what we are looking to add:

- Trumpet player
- 2nd Sax player (Tenor or Alto's preferable)
- Keyboard player
- Lead Guitarist
- Rhythm Guitarist

Although these are the priority vacancies we wish to fill, we'd also be open to other musicians who show passion and feel they have a talent which they can add to the band. So if none of the above match, but you think you'd be a good fit, please drop us a message Smile

The hope currently is to expand and relaunch ourselves back into the Newcastle music scene after a recent 6 months hiatus. We have plans to write, record and release new music, as well as apply for festivals and other support slots across the North of England. We would love for you to be a part of this journey!
