Hi,
I am a unique, powerful rock/soul/jazz/indie singer and looking to find a band. I was previously in a kind of grungy alternative rock band but I love so many different types of music so pretty flexible.
I would mostly like a band I can write with rather than a covers band but the odd cover is always fun.
I grew up listening to rock and metal as a teenager but I’m quite a clean vocalist for most part but not squeaky clean. I can go a bit Janis Joplin or Courtney love if the song calls for it. I love 90s grunge and would happily embark on something with that kind of pixies, sonic youth, soundgarden vibe. Or even a bit of a post punk cure/siouxsie kind of thing could work.
Equally I grew up singing soul and I absolutely adore funk and reggae and and lots of other genres so I’m open minded about what I work on as long as it’s good.
I’d prefer to work with a band who is ready established for most part but if you aren’t quite there yet but got a few ideas feel free to send stuff over. I’ll post a few examples of my voice and songwriting below:
