Singer/songwriter/guitarist seeks rhythm section London south

Hi there!

Im looking to put a band together (how original of me!).

I sing and play the guitar (how original!) and would like to get back out on the live scene again. Im over 20 years in the industry with a lot of live/studio experience. Im looking for a drummer and a bass player who have similar experience and can play to a good level. Im not looking for someone who has just picked up a pair of sticks or a bass and just plays at home. Nothing wrong with that as we all started somewhere. Please don't waste my time should you fall in this category. Its draining. An age bracket of 25-35 would be ideal. If you want cutting edge ground breaking songs that are left field, then this isn't for you. Im stuck in the past and love classic rock. ONLY. Sue me

My influences are Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix, Ten Years After, Moody Blues, Beatles, 60s psychedelia/folk.

Everything is good to go. The songs (8-10), the direction, the gear, the clothes, I have transport. I just need likeminded people to support my vision live. In return you will be paid. Not a king's ransom, but enough to cover expenses to start with. Maybe more later on. This is about the music, not the money for me, but I do believe in musicians getting paid for their services.

Initially I would like to rehearse for obvious reasons. Please!!! only contact me if you are serious about doing this. I have had people that can't be bothered to learn stuff, abuse alcohol turning up to gigs legless, bail rehearsals and gigs at the last minute 'due to work', but thats how it goes. Im 100% into what I do and don't have the patience to mess around. No band politics, egos or bullsh*t. We turn up to the rehearsal or gig, play and enjoy the night.
