a bit about me: i play piano, ukulele and guitar (self taught and not super skilled but music is a hobby for me not a study/profession), i'm 26, vegan, feminist, and i don't drive (only cycle) so i can't travel far.
in the future i'd like to learn to play the drums (i know like one or two songs but i've not kept it up) and saxophone (i own one but the pads need replacing so i've not started learning yet)
i also like learning languages so i can sing songs in spanish and korean (not fluent in korean but working on it)
i am a strict mask wearer so looking for people ideally who take covid seriously or are willing to since the pandemic isn't over and i'm vulnerable (as is anyone who has had covid at least once)
music i like: i currently listen to quite a lot of rnb style stuff, comedy music, pop and kpop atm but i like all genres used to listen to a lot of rap/hiphop, dance/electronic, chavvy rap, classic/alt/brit/pop rock and pop punk.
some of my current faves/influences include: the lonely island, bo burnham, billie eilish, bts, crosby stills and nash, harry styles, biig piig, erykah badu, the fugees, lauryn hill, jungle, h.e.r, kaytranada, rosalia, beyonce, anderson paak, kali uchis, fizz, dodie, orla gartland, remi wolf, rihanna, sza, teyana taylor, eurythmics, djo, rina sawayama, hwa sa, chris (aka christine and the queens), ravyn lenae, radiohead, one direction, 5 seconds of summer, the artist formerly known as prince
i used to write poetry but not written many original songs (the ones i have written are very silly) but i have a few covers on soundcloud if anyone wants to listen. i really don't take myself seriously so looking for people who are chill and wanting to just have fun and make music or play covers and not be gigging every week. i'm flexible about what kinds of music we do and open to trying new stuff
also i am queer and use they/them pronouns so if you're homophobic then keep quite about it lol
