Singer/Guitar/Bass looking to join band! Manchester

Hi there, my name is Sion. I’m a versatile musician looking to join preferably an already established band in Manchester but I’ll happily join anything in my genre taste to have some fun and play gigs again and possibly get in the studio. A bit about me.. I’m 33 from North Wales but looking to move to Manchester early next year after I finish my winter contract with my current job. I will however be in Manchester most weekends as my girlfriend lives in Salford. I’ve played in different bands since I was 15 as a bass player, drummer, rhythm and vocals. My current line up is I am a singer and rhythm guitarist in an acoustic trio and have played many pubs, clubs and festivals in my local area, and have even played the Shrewsbury Flower Show last year as a support act to the headliner! I wouldn’t say I’m bored of all of that now because I love playing anything and anywhere but I am definitely ready to start playing in rock bands again. I picked up my first instrument when I was in my first year of high school which was a bass guitar, I instantly fell in love with it and got my first one a year later for my 12th birthday! I’ve never had any lessons I am completely self taught in what I play. I also play drums and own a Roland electric kit which is a wicked bit of gear. All though I love playing rhythm and being the vocalist I am more than happy to take a step back and just be rhythm and backing vocals but my heart has always been with the bass. I don’t have any recordings of me playing and singing, but have plenty of low-ish quality phone camera videos I can dig out send over including from my performance at the flower show. As I said, I will only be available weekends for the time being for any rehearsals, auditions or possible gigs but hopefully that won’t be an issue. My main inspirations and favourite bands range between Foo Fighters, first 2 albums Arctic Monkeys, You Me At Six and everything in between. Foos are definitely my favourite band of all time along side Blink 182 and Green Day but I love all kinds of music so try me. I would say my ideal genre would be alternative rock though. I think I have all gear necessary for gigging including full PA system, mixer, XLRs, jacks, microphones, instruments, 2x 1000watt speakers and I drive a decent size VW estate.
