Singer-songwriter/guitarist looking for band Lenton/Dunkirk

hey!

I'm willow I'm a 24 year old songwriter and member of post punk/post rock group Dura Mater and I'm looking for members for another project. Most of the band are moving away next year so our activity is gonna decrease massively and I'm eager to form a new group to focus on my own music. Through Dura Mater I've played a few local venues including Bodega, Chameleon and Metronome so I've got gigging and promotion experience.

Very open to a variety of instruments but especially seeking: a drummer, other guitarists, synth player, bassist, horns and string players. Will be playing originals in an art pop, chamber pop, shoegaze, indie, slowcore vein with some influence from jazz and post punk. Looking for people willing to commit to at least a couple of practices a week (although it will likely be less until my deadlines are out the way in mid-August) with the goal of playing gigs and hopefully recording some stuff soon as possible.

Some influences: Black Country New Road, Alex G, Nick Cave, Women, Songs: Ohia, Coil, Duster, Belle and Sebastian, Codeine, Prefab Sprout, Jens Lekman, Stereolab, Animal Collective, Scott Walker, Elliott Smith and Pavement.
