Hello singers of London!
I'd (42 y/o male) like to create a band to play original songs, play live, do some recording, and see if we can get some fans in the process. I have a full time job and family so it's mainly for fun but I'd be committed to the right band, and don't mind putting work in to see where it goes.
We are currently myself, (mainly guitar) with a set of songs, a drummer and bassist. I sing a bit but want to concentrate on the guitar and leave the rest to a good vocalist
Looking for down to earth and reliable singers, who love music. Ability to sing with a good pop rock tone and vocal charisma obviously important but you don't need to have a great range or technique. Being committed to the idea of being in a band, reliability and good communication is essential.
The music : Rock / Pop Rock. Maybe with some Indie /progressive / hard rock/ new wave / jazz / blues influences. Fair to say the songs are more retro than modern but i'm not looking to copy any particular sound or band.

Rehearsals probably around south east london'ish area. Probably Peckham. Probably evenings. 2 - 3 times a month as a rough guide?
