Are you a band in need of a talented and passionate lead singer? Look no further! I'm Emma, an experienced vocalist with a passion for singing and have always wanted to be in a band. I would love to be on stage, out my comfort zone and show everyone what I can do!
My influences are Tina Turner, Blondie, JADE, Paramore, Queen, KISS, etc. My music taste has been heavily influenced by my parents love for music from the 50s to the present day.
About Me:
* Vocal Range: Alto to mezzo-soprano, but with practice, I believe I could reach higher notes.
* Genres: Pop, mainstream, rock, Motown, funk, disco—and anything with a great vibe!
* Experience:
- Musical Theatre: Currently performing and honing my craft on stage
- Singing Competitions: Auditioned and gained experience performing in competitive settings
- Public Performances: Have performed in front of audiences and love the energy of live shows
- Karaoke Enthusiast: Always ready for a fun, impromptu sing-along session
* Stage Presence: Still finding my style, but I believe being part of a band will help me grow in this area and boost my confidence on stage as this is something I want to do.
* Flexible & Collaborative: Not picky—I’m excited to give different styles a try and be in a space where creativity is embraced. I love exploring new ideas and collaborating on unique sounds!
* Bonus Talent: I’m an art student, so I can help out with visual aspects like design, branding, and artwork for the band
What I’m Looking For:
- A Band with Empowerment at its Core: I admire female icons like Debbie Harry of Blondie and Tina Turner, who command the stage with effortless power and confidence. I want to be part of a band where we lift each other up, and where I can contribute to a positive, empowering environment both on and off stage.
- Strong Stage Presence & Role Models: I’m drawn to artists who inspire and uplift, and I want to be a part of a band where we can be seen as role models, especially for young women. Much like the women in Scottish girl bands who remain unrecognized, I’m passionate about being part of something that breaks barriers and creates lasting impact.
- Collaboration and Creative Freedom: I’m open to experimenting with different genres and sounds. I want to be in a space where everyone’s creativity is valued, and where we can experiment, grow, and have fun together.
- Opportunities to Grow & Inspire: I’m looking for a band where I can continue to develop my stage presence, voice, and overall artistry. I want to feel confident on stage and be able to inspire people the way I’ve been inspired by the legends before me
