Hi
I’m having trouble finding a band to join who have the right level of musicianship and the imagination to look beyond the mind-numbingly obvious. Is anyone out there in the same situation?…….If this is you, and to save all of us a lot of time and effort, please read on…. and I look forward to hearing from you…….Cheers, Nigel (Lead Guitarist).
About me….I’m/I have;
• 54 (but can still kick ass), reliable/team player with transport, decent gear and gsoh
• Lead/Rhythm Guitarist and Backing vocals
• Enthusiastic/Experienced
• Know a considerable and varied catalogue of songs
Are you;
• Between 35 and 55, are a reliable team player, have transport, decent gear, a gsoh and no ego?
• Experienced at being in bands?
• A good player who can play ‘authentically’ (i.e. sound good and enjoy replicating a good song and most of it’s iconic parts relevant to your instrument)
• The guy who gets a kick out of a band playing well as a unit (i.e. to entertain and impress)?
• (If you’re a singer) a genuine ‘rock’ singer (e.g. Paul Rogers, Bryan Adams sort of thing)?
• Able to learn multiple songs quickly?
• Able to rehearse 1 night per week?
Would you be interested in/excited by the following potential set list for starters (these aren't my favourite songs);
