Shinedoon

I wanted to put the feelers out for a potential Shinedown tribute act and hoped there might be some like minded musicians around.
As far as I can tell, there doesn't appear to be a UK based tribute currently and with a 20 year anniversary tour coming, it feels like an opening. If there is a tribute then they don't appear to be hitting the festivals.
I'd be seeking to make it a professional show, using backing tracks for the keyboard/piano parts I'd imagine. The sort of thing that can be taken to the various tribute festivals across the UK. That said, that would be a long term aim and this is starting from scratch so may be suited to musicians who are perhaps after a side project. Initially, once a set is put together, it'd be support slots for more established tributes.
I'm seeking a solid guitarist and bassist, but the real power needs to come from the vocals. Confidence and stage presence are essential, however the most vital thing is to gel as a band.
I've been playing drums for 20+ years and have decent gear, including IEMs. I can develop backing tracks where needed but everything should be run to click anyway - so you'll need IEMs too.
Would seek to practice somewhere around/near to J28 M1, depending on what suited everyone. Most likely looking to practice once or twice per month and increase this as and when necessary (considering this would likely be a side project).
I want this to be fun, not all consuming, but still professional. I want to put on a show that gets people singing along and holds an audience solidly throughout. If this sounds like something you can get involved with, drop me a message and we'll go from there.
Age, gender etc are not important. If you can play well, put on a show, and have a laugh then get involved.
Cheers.
