Serious Online Metal Project Looking for Guitarist (20s) : Album-Oriented
We’re currently building a serious remote project with the goal of writing and producing a full album.
For now, we are:
Vocalist / lyricist and visual artist (also handling synth & ambient layers but open to share any of those roles)
A professional drummer
Both highly motivated and fully invested
Our influences revolve around modern metal and progressive/atmospheric heavy music:
Tesseract, Periphery, Karnivool, Invent Animate, Guilt Trip, Landmvrks, Sleep Token, and similar artists. We are open to many other influences to blend them all together.
Project mindset :
This is not a casual jam project.
We are aiming for something serious, creative, and long-term, while keeping the process enjoyable and collaborative but also friendly despite the distance as I believe that an open minded and friendly atmosphere is also key to an healthy working environnement.
We can already handle multiple aspects of the project (writing, atmosphere, concepts, etc...) and if things work well remotely, we’ll explore how far we can take it in the future.
What we’re looking for :
Guitarist in their 20s
Into modern metal / atmospheric / progressive heavy music
Comfortable with low tunings
Able to write riffs and contribute creatively in many other ways
Able to criticize / evaluate each others work to progress without any judgment for the sake of the project
Has a recording setup (home studio is totally fine as long as the quality of the audio is decent to edit the track)
Serious and consistent mindset and is open to express themselves creatively, being involved in the visual process too
Big plus if you:
Can edit, mix, or master tracks or know someone who can do it
Enjoy building something long-term
Like both heavy and atmospheric approaches
Can play bass too

We’re looking for someone committed and reliable not for someone who vanishes after a few days, apply only if you are sure to stay.
