Hi to all,
Genuine dedicated serious band duo bass player 30 and guitarist vocalist 40 seek a dedicated drummer who wants to actually push to get somewhere.
We are based in Exeter south Devon, but both drive and willing to travel for the right drummer with compromise and discussion.
We are an original band playing metal / rock and have serious gig opportunities at pro level lined up. We have a real cool friend who is currently helping us as required live and in the studio but cant commit because he has family commitments which we totally respect.
We'd therefore like to find the true 3rd member to complete us. Our friend totally supports us and will step aside if the right person comes along.
Influences include: The Wildhearts, Metallica, Motorhead, Rush, GNR, Tool, Black Sabbath, and many many more besides.
Look total honesty, we have real opportunities and are both busy but dedicated so don't want to waste our chances. If you are not serious or just looking for a laugh then we are not for you.
We recently had time and money wasted by a drummer who told us they would definitely show for a jam and we paid for a rehearsal rental only for the dude to decide a day and a bit before that social life was more important so cancelled on us with no time for us to cancel our booking and get our money back. Not cool. We arent made of money. That's why we are asking for genuine dedicated players.
If you are a serious drummer who likes what we like and really wants to rock live aswell as release original material get at us. All ages welcome. If you rock you rock but please bare in mind the dedicated part. This is serious we have gigs lined up and are investing in an EP with a real eye on commercial release. Please do consider your level of desire and commitment level.
Sorry if that's Blunt but as stated above we've had our time wasted before. We are actually quite chilled we are just passionate about doing something cool. Arrogant as it sounds we know we can rock, and with the right drummer it could be seriously cool.
