The concept is simple: instead of another standard function band playing the usual wedding set, we're building a show designed to get people who grew up in the 2000's singing every word to the soundtrack of their youth.
Think:
My Chemical Romance
Fall Out Boy
Paramore
Blink-182
Sum 41
Jimmy Eat World
Taking Back Sunday
Enter Shikari
Linkin Park
Papa Roach
Limp Bizkit
Korn
System of a Down
Evanescence
Avenged Sevenfold
Good Charlotte
The Offspring
Green Day
Mixed with carefully selected crowd-pleasers from across the decades to keep wedding guests and corporate audiences engaged.
The aim is to create a polished, professional act capable of playing:
Weddings
Corporate events
Festivals
Private functions
Alternative club nights
Tribute and nostalgia events
About Me
I'm an experienced lead guitarist with 20+ years of playing, gigging and songwriting experience across original and covers bands.
I've played everything from pop and country through to blues, soul, rock, hardcore and metal, so versatility isn't an issue. Influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Queen, Machine Head, Iron Maiden and Pantera amongst many others.
I bring:
Strong technical ability
Professional attitude
Reliability and commitment
Zero ego or drama
Looking For:
Vocals
Bass
Drums
Rhythm guitar (optional depending on lineup)
Keys/programming (optional)
Most importantly, I'm looking for people who:
Can play to a high standard
Take rehearsals seriously
Want to build something commercially successful
Have a good sense of humour
Leave egos at the door
The goal is not to be the next local pub band. The goal is to build a memorable, marketable live act that people actively book because it offers something different from the rest.
If the idea of making guests lose their minds to Misery Business, In The End, Fat Lip, Chop Suey, Sugar We're Goin Down and I'm (not) OK sounds like a good night out, let's talk
