THE VOJAN SOUL PROJECT – BE PART OF THE UK’S FIRST AI SOUL BAND (ESSEX)
We’re creating something brand new.
The goal is to build a live soul band that performs AI-written, 50s/60s-style soul songs — real emotion, live instruments, and human energy — plus modern songs reimagined in that same vintage soul sound.
This will be a 2–3-night-a-week residency at The Vojan (Ongar, Essex) for a minimum of 6 months.
If we get this right, it could explode into something huge: sold-out shows, viral sessions, maybe even a new movement in live music.

THE VISION
We’re blending two worlds that almost never meet:
• The soul and honesty of the 1950s/60s — Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Etta James, Ray Charles.
• The modern creativity of AI, generating fresh, emotional soul tracks that sound timeless but speak to today’s world.
This isn’t a cover band.
It’s the first AI Soul Band in the UK — real musicians giving digital songs a human heartbeat.
We’ll take the sound born at The Vojan and build it into something people talk about everywhere — live sessions, sold-out shows, viral clips, collaborations.
If we lock in together, this could go from a residency to a full-scale movement.

WHO WE NEED
Musicians who live and breathe soul. People who want to make history, not just play gigs.
We’re building a real band — not session players.
Open roles:
• Lead Vocalist (male or female – authentic soul tone)
• 1 Female Backing Vocalist (soulful harmonies, presence)
• 1 Male Backing Vocalist (call-and-response energy)
• Keys / Organ (Rhodes, Wurly, Hammond sounds)
• Guitar (clean, vintage tone)
• Bass (deep pocket, warm and melodic)
• Drums (tight, groovy, dynamic)
• Horns (Sax + Trumpet essential; Trombone bonus)
