MUSICIANS WANTED – LANARKSHIRE / GLASGOW
Rock / Indie / Classic Rock Covers Band
Experienced lead guitarist in my early 40s looking to put together a quality rock/indie covers band with some like-minded musicians.
Main influences:
Oasis • Pink Floyd • Ocean Colour Scene • Guns N’ Roses • Led Zeppelin • AC/DC • Nirvana and plenty more.
Looking for:
* Lead vocalist / rhythm guitarist
* Bass guitarist
* Drummer
The idea is to put together a tight, great-sounding band playing a mix of classic rock and indie anthems, with the aim of getting out gigging around Lanarkshire, Glasgow and beyond.
I’ve recently got back into playing after a break and have been putting in plenty of practice. Now looking to get together with some decent musicians and get something off the ground.
The kind of band I’m looking to build:
Think Oasis attitude, Pink Floyd guitar sounds, Ocean Colour Scene grooves and the energy of classic rock.
Ideally looking for musicians around 30–55 who are comfortable with their instruments, have some previous experience and are up for rehearsing once a week somewhere around Lanarkshire.
Going for that classic British rock/indie look and sound. Nothing too flashy or overcomplicated — just a proper guitar-driven band playing great songs.
Not looking for beginners, but equally not interested in massive egos. Good musicianship, reliability and a bit of enthusiasm are what matter.
The goal is to build a solid setlist, get the band sounding tight and eventually start playing regular gigs.
Sound like your kind of thing?
Drop me a message with your age, instrument, musical influences and a bit about your playing experience. If you’ve got any clips of yourself playing, even better.
Would be good to get a few musicians together, book a rehearsal room and see how things go.
