Are you now an ageing rocker? Did the 1990's pass you by (for various reasons that we won't talk about here)?
If you're like me, you'll be in your 40's and will have a vague recollection of the music from the particular decade that was known as the 90's!
The decade of Ash, Shed 7, Space, Catatonia, Pulp, Blur, Oasis, The New Radicals, Massive Attack, Weezer, Eels, The Fugees, Happy Mondays, Elastica, The Prodigy, Bush, Nirvana etc. etc. etc.
What you do remember, you will recall was pretty good and certainly a time to be alive and partying (everybody was)!
It's also a decade that older and younger generations remember fondly because of the music.
It's our generation that frequents live gigs and makes up the largest percentage of audience members at live events, so what kind of music do you think they want to hear? Yup! The 90's...
I am a singer (45) who is sick of screaming out the usual tiresome pub band classics and would like to now focus on putting together a band that plays nothing but 90's classics - maybe not Blur and Oasis but almost everything else, almost...
If you are like minded and fancy getting something off the ground, then I would love to hear from you.
I think a drummer, bass player, guitarist, keyboard player and female vocalist would be suffice to complete the ensemble - what do you think?
You don't have to be the same age, but it may just help in replicating this decade's music and I for one can't wait to hear it all over again (without the distractions this time)
