I am an experienced guitarist looking for a self employed singer to work alongside in a duo. My focus is on a laid-back 'vintage cafe style' pop & soft rock which has a jazzy 'twist'. I also wish to offer 'typical' contemporary pop & soft rock in an upbeat style to suit a wider range of venues & events. I therefore need someone with versatile capabilities as a singer. I have experience in playing at weddings & functions; which is an avenue I still wish to explore.
Bistros, cafe/wine bars, country dining pubs, hotels & restaurants, pizza & cocktail venues, themed and pop-up events, corporates, privating dining & all celebratory functions are a focus.
I am based near Chesterfield & the Derbyshire Dales & much of my work is in & around the Peak District. Primarily I am looking for someone close to this area, & the majority of the work I would hope would be in/around this vicinity as well as South Yorkshire & into parts of Nottinghamshire.
I am looking for a like-minded individual who has availability and is able to commit to working together asap. I have a name for the act & I have many existing contacts to approach. I have support with my administration & will be running the social media. I have a set list for the vintage cafe style offering & ideas for the 'typical' pop/soft rock set. Open to contributions & suggestions with regards to the material, process and direction; but looking at a quick turnaround. Looking at firming up set lists, agreeing the plan and creating promo quickly after just a few rehearsals.

Must have own transport.
Must have own public liability insurance & own PAT testing (or be willing to obtain).
