PRIMAVOLTA is an emerging Manchester-based project blending Neo-Soul, Disco/Pop, and modern indie sensibilities, drawing clear influence from Parcels, Silk Sonic, and LEISURE. We’re currently a committed trio (Vocals / Bass / Drums) with experience in previous bands.
We’re now looking to add a Guitarist and a Keys/Synth Player who can help shape the final sound of the project as we move into writing, rehearsing, and later recording.
What We’re Aiming For:
- A polished but soulful sound with groove-driven rhythm sections, smooth harmonies, tasteful tones, and strong arrangement focus.
- A fully consistent lineup that can push toward releasing music in early 2026 and begin approaching labels and industry contacts shortly thereafter.
- A collaborative environment where everyone contributes creatively, reliably, and professionally.
Who We’re Looking For:
Guitarist:
- Comfortable with clean/disco tones, rhythmic precision, and melodic lead lines
- Ability to lock in with tight rhythm-section dynamics
- Strong feel for groove, texture, and tasteful restraint
Keys/Synth Player:
- Confident with chords, comping, synth textures, and layering
- Good understanding of harmony and sound selection
- Ability to blend live keys with atmospheric electronic elements
General Expectations
- Commitment: regular rehearsals, writing sessions, and willingness to put genuine time into the project
- Experience: we’re seeking musicians who have gigged, recorded, or been part of structured projects before
- Production Ability (Bonus, not required): experience with DAWs, demos, arrangement, or sound design is a big plus
- Mindset: reliability, communication, and ambition matter just as much as musical skill
