Post-punk band seeks synth player East London

Hey!

We're Lunch (@lunchbanduk), a noisy post-punk four piece (four guys, he/him, late twenties to mid thirties) based in East London looking to bring a synth player into the group for added dance punk/general experimentation.

Our live show is energetic and we love a glitching, squealing guitar. Our sound mixes early Bloc Party/Gang of Four, Squid, Pixies, Soft Play, Shame/IDLES and we're looking for a synth player to help us expand and evolve the sound of our current setup (vox, guitar, bass, drums).

We lean noisy/heavy but with our new writing we're looking to add some elements of anthemic dance punk to that heaviness (think LCD Soundsystem, Home Counties, Snapped Ankles, Tom Vek, Gustaf).

"Foot tapping" is the remit. That said, all ideas are welcome and we're keen to experiment.

Musicians of any and all ages, backgrounds and influences are welcomed! All we ask is that you're easy going, proficient with your gear and can commit to one week night evening rehearsal per week plus monthly shows with travel.

Bonus if you can also provide some backing vox. Not a dealbreaker though

- Featured artist on BBC Introducing London
- Three singles played on Radio 1 Introducing
- Supports with Stuck (Chicago), Panic Shack, Hot Wax, Pulled Apart By Horses
- Recording an EP this Aug/Sept (No need for you to be ready/available for this though)
