I’m 17 and looking to start a pop-punk band around Slough so aslong as your in berkshire or able to travel easily that’s fine. I’d like to start off by covering Blink-182 and other pop-punk songs, then eventually start writing and recording our own songs.
I’m looking for:
* ???? Bassist – ideally someone who can do vocals as well, but this isn’t a deal breaker.
* ???? Drummer
* Vocalist- i will be singing too but if i’m unable to find a bassist who can sing with me feel free to contact me aswell
I’m mainly looking for people around 16–21, but the most important thing is finding people who are genuinely interested in playing.
I work as well, but as long as you’re in or around Slough, I’m able to practise after work and on weekends, so I’m fairly flexible with arranging rehearsals.
You don’t have to be insanely skilled. I’m not expecting everyone to be amazing straight away — we can all improve and get better together. As long as you’re able to play along with pop-punk songs and are willing to practise, that’s good enough.
I’d ideally like people who are into pop-punk or similar genres, especially bands like Blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41 and The Offspring. i’m also into Metallica and megadeth so if you are too feel free to message aswell but note that the band won’t be focused around thrash metal.However, anybody is welcome as long as you’re interested in the genre and able to cover pop-punk songs.
The main goal is to have fun, improve together, play some gigs eventually and hopefully start writing our own songs once we’ve got comfortable playing together.
If you’re interested, feel free to message me through the website or
