We have a number of projects ongoing for a lead drummer. Other instruments covered. Better to be based in or around Teesside and not have other projects ongoing, though the odd dep elsewhere is ok if you need to, though you'll be busy most weekends anyway.
Thursday evening rehearsals are dedicated near Yarm and storage is here with full kit available. Occasional Sundays too.
Based in the North East but could travel anywhere. Equal profit share basis.
Drop straight into a touring tribute band. Join a polished function band. Also play our favourite pubs and parties for fun. Mostly pop and soft rock covers (Wham to Bon Jovi via Abba & Queen and up to current charts).
Think you can do this with dedicated rehearsal time and be committed and professional?
Works better clean shaven and with a youthful exuberance. Outfits provided where necessary. Own transport required (though we do hire vans for longer journeys).
We communicate mostly through facebook and teamup so you'll need a presence. Can be set up later.
Best response is to email: daniel@decadesentertainment.co.uk and I will send links and full details. Include your SM links, general availability (eg most weekends - one or two shows), uk travel limits, any other info.
Let me know if you'd be willing to dep on other projects too. Lots of opportunities to be busy over the next few years...
Unfortunately we've spent quite a bit of time on applicants who perhaps have the desire but do not have either the availability or style for this so please make sure you have read everything and understand that you will be joining a family and we're all totally committed and have no overlapping work issues, supportive families, and no other projects likely to clash. The band has a high energy and happy atmosphere, free from egos and gigging regularly with maybe 90 tracks to learn initially. Major pop anthems in general from 60's to today, but mostly based around the 80's.
If you've played in function bands you'll probably know most anyway, though we do like our mash-ups and to up the tempo where appropriate to give everything a get-up-and-dance vibe.
Look forward to hearing from you! Cheers.
