Pink Floyd tribute, male vocalist / rhythm guitarist, permanent role starting now
£100/gig + expenses
Established Pink Floyd tribute playing theatre gigs is looking for a lead vocalist who can also cover rhythm (and some lead) guitar.
We've grown quickly and we're now regularly selling out 300-500+ seaters. We travel with the whole Floyd-type light show, circle etc. We have 15 gigs in the diary for 2018 with more waiting for when we plug this gap in the lineup.
We're looking for a thoroughly reliable professional musician to become a permanent member of the band. You'll need strong vocals, often covering Gilmour parts but sometimes Waters. Although we've got a lot of lead guitar work sorted already (although there's room for some), you'll also need to be a good guitarist able and willing to get the Floyd sound.
The first shows are at the start of May with two days of rehearsal beforehand. We pay £100 a gig, travel expenses, accommodation where necessary and some food. You'll be working with a group of excellent, experienced musicians who love Pink Floyd and who are all dedicated to getting the Floyd sound right. We work all over the country and so location is not very important, though we rehearse (irregularly) in the South East. As individuals we show up at rehearsals thoroughly prepared and ready to go, and we're looking for someone who can do the same. We can supply lots of info & recordings etc in a rehearsal pack.
