Percussionist needed for Belfast open mics Belfast

Hi there!

my name's James McAlaster I'm looking to get into the northern Irish music scene starting in Belfast as a performing artist.

I have spent 2 years improving my voice and learning as much as possible so that I can understand more about music and get closer to accompany myself on guitar.

I'm looking for an amateur percussionist to join me onstage for open mic nights. Sets are usually 15 mins long. The right person would turn up to practice, and be happy to join onstage for 3 songs and accept their free pint.

The right person will be able to turn up and have faith in new material.

The incentives for you are the same as for me: gaining experience of performing among people of many levels and getting into the scene.

Additionally,

I will cover the costs of the rehearsal space.

I can pay a small amount for your 15 mins time onstage drumming; bear in mind I am not a professional - yet and this is more suited for an amateur player. After a few gigs you can see if you see value in what you are part of.

I have complete confidence in my music and my ability, and I am looking for someone to join in that journey to success.

If you're a professional drummer this is not going to be worth your time. If you are an amateur drummer and are dreaming of getting into music, you are welcome to join me.

If you play another instrument that's a bonus!

If interested, reply on this with a little bit about yourself, thanks for reading!
